
Biography of Milton Kiang
Milton has been writing professionally for over 15 years: first as a lawyer, drafting legal documents, then as a freelance writer working on magazine features and articles.
Now, as a professional copywriter, he helps law firms and other organizations achieve their marketing goals by creating persuasive, audience-oriented communication materials.
As a freelance writer, Milton’s work has been published in the Vancouver Sun, Vancouver Courier, Georgia Straight, Canadian Immigrant magazine, This magazine, The Lawyers Weekly, and Canadian Lawyer magazine.
Although he specializes in legal writing, Milton has written about subjects ranging from finance to pharmacy to technology.
Milton has industry experience working as a lawyer at Intel Corp, as a legal recruiter at Major, Lindsey & Africa, and as a co-founder of an Asian legal services portal, Legalstudio.com.
He graduated with a B.A. (International Relations) from the University of British Columbia (1989) and an LL.B. from the University of Calgary (1993). Milton is a member of the Canadian Public Relations Society.
