Q. How do I work with a copywriter?
A. I’ll have a discussion with you to find out what you need (e.g. ad, website content, article), and what are your marketing objectives. I will then make a determination on the length of the required content, and the amount of time and work needed.
I will provide you with a free quote and a time estimate for completion. If you accept the quote, I start straight away.
First, I conduct an interview with you and any other subject matter experts for your writing project. Clients are sometimes stuck on what they want to say. Once I start my question-and-answer sessions, many are surprised how much information they carry. My job is to ask probing questions and extract relevant information; I carefully arrange that information, emphasize the key messages, and make sure the written material carries the right tone intended for your audience. I do additional research, as required.
I create a first draft and submit it to you for your review. We go over the draft to make any revisions. Then I produce a final copy that captures what you want to say, in the right tone and voice, meeting all of your writing objectives.

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
“When Columbia College wanted to write its Viewbook (college brochure), we wanted a writer who could capture our College’s attraction to international students.
“Milton Kiang was able to do that for us. He’s well organized, brimming with new ideas, and was able to write in a style that reflects the history and values of our College. During the process, Milton was a valued addition to my team.”
